Atlanta-Based Licensed Asbestos, Lead, PCB & Mold Abatement Contractor
Regulated materials discovered during a renovation or pre-demolition survey don't just slow a project down — they create liability exposure and compliance obligations that must be resolved before any other work can proceed. Trinity Industrial Services handles abatement as part of a complete project scope, not as a disconnected subcontract that creates hand-off gaps between your abatement work and the demolition or renovation that follows.
What We Abate
Asbestos
Friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials in flooring, insulation, pipe wrap, ceiling tiles, transit panels, siding, roofing, and mechanical systems. We handle both large-scale pre-demolition removal and smaller-scope renovation abatement.
Lead-Based Paint
Interior and exterior lead paint removal in commercial buildings, residential structures, industrial facilities, and government properties. Our methods meet HUD, EPA, and OSHA lead-safe work practice requirements.
Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)
Removal of PCB-containing caulk, window glazing, light ballasts, transformers, and building materials commonly found in structures built between 1950 and 1979.
Mold Remediation
Containment, removal, and treatment of mold-affected materials in both occupied and unoccupied structures. We address the source conditions that caused the growth, not just the visible damage.
Abatement Process
Our process follows EPA and OSHA protocols from initial assessment through regulatory clearance.
Material Assessment and Testing Coordination
We coordinate with certified environmental testing firms to identify and quantify regulated materials on your site. If your project doesn't have a hazardous materials survey yet, we facilitate that step and incorporate the results directly into the abatement scope — no waiting on separate scheduling or disconnected third-party timelines.
Containment and Work Area Preparation
Negative pressure enclosures, HEPA filtration, polyethylene barriers, decontamination chambers, and critical seals — all configured to the specific material type, quantity, and site conditions. Containment is designed to protect adjacent occupied spaces, HVAC systems, and the surrounding environment.
Clearance Documentation
Post-abatement air monitoring, visual inspections, and clearance reporting required for regulatory sign-off. This documentation package allows the next phase of work — demolition, renovation, or re-occupancy — to proceed without delay or additional regulatory hold.

Project Types
Pre-demolition abatement for commercial and industrial structures. Renovation preparation in occupied and unoccupied buildings. Industrial facility decommissioning where multiple hazardous materials are present simultaneously. Government and military facility abatement under federal oversight. Emergency response for unexpected regulated material discoveries during active construction.
Why TIS for Abatement
Because we also perform demolition, hauling, recycling, and site restoration, abatement with TIS doesn't create a transition gap. The same contractor managing your regulated material removal also manages the demolition that follows — one contract, one schedule, one point of accountability throughout. For complex multi-hazard sites where asbestos, lead, and PCBs are all present in the same structure, that continuity eliminates the coordination risk that slows projects and creates compliance exposure.
