TIS was built to handle the projects that require more than a standard contractor can deliver — hazardous material abatement on a military installation, environmental remediation on a site with federal oversight, industrial demolition with strict regulatory requirements. That's not an accident. It's the company we set out to build.
Who We Are
Trinity Industrial Services is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business founded in 2008 by Tom Frost, a United States Air Force veteran. We’re a family-operated business based in Atlanta, Georgia, built from the ground up to deliver demolition, hazardous material abatement, and environmental remediation across federal, industrial, and commercial sectors.
Our management team brings more than 60 years of combined experience across commercial demolition, industrial construction, environmental remediation, and environmental regulatory compliance. That background shows up in how we approach projects — the regulatory knowledge, the planning discipline, the understanding that this work has real consequences and requires contractors who treat it that way.
Our founder’s path to this industry started in the Air Force, where he served as a non-commissioned officer and rose to become a master inspector and technician on military aircraft and jet engines. That background in precision, inspection, and accountability carries directly into how TIS plans and executes every project.
Our Track Record
Backed by an A-rated surety listed on the US Treasury Department's Circular 750 — which qualifies TIS for federal contracting. We've earned the work we've done, and our track record on government and military facilities speaks to what we're capable of.

Years of Experience
Those aren’t marketing numbers. Our $7 million single-project bond and $10 million aggregate bond are backed by an A-rated surety listed on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Circular 570 — the official list of sureties approved to write bonds on federal projects. A third party has evaluated our financials, our track record, and our operational capacity and decided we’re worth bonding at these levels.
Our EMR of 0.74 means our safety claims history is 26% better than the industry average of 1.0. That’s not self-reported — it’s calculated by insurance carriers based on actual loss data. For general contractors evaluating subcontractors, EMR is one of the most objective measures of whether a company actually operates safely or just says they do.
Who We’ve Worked With
We’ve also completed demolition and remediation work on federal installations for the U.S. Department of Defense, working under the security clearance requirements, documentation standards, and multi-agency oversight that military projects demand. Our SDVOSB certification isn’t just a designation — our leadership came from that environment before building this company.
TIS has delivered projects for some of the largest general contractors and project owners operating in the Southeast:

How We Work
We do the right thing on every project. That means full compliance, no shortcuts, and the kind of documentation and process discipline that holds up to regulatory scrutiny and federal audit. It also means being straightforward with clients — about scope, about risk, about what it takes to get a project closed correctly.
TIS manages demolition, abatement, and environmental remediation as an integrated scope. Clients who need all three don’t have to manage multiple subcontractors or worry about gaps in accountability between the demo crew, the abatement team, and the environmental consultant. One contract. One point of contact. Full scope from mobilization through site closeout and regulatory sign-off.
We self-perform the majority of our work with our own crews and equipment — giving us direct control over scheduling, quality, and safety on every project.
Where We Work
TIS is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with primary operations across all major Georgia markets. We also maintain active licenses and project experience in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Our federal project experience extends across military installations and government facilities throughout the Southeast United States.
